“Jen helped me figure out what problems I was facing…”

My biggest challenge I was facing was learning how to eat well, and have balanced meals. Jen helped me figure out what problems I was facing that was causing me to fall off track. She also gave me a lot of information about the benefit of different macro ratios. I was able to lose 2.5inches off of my waist! My main goal wasnt weight loss, it was to lose body fat percentage. So, to see that a whole 2.5 inches were lost on my waist was huge for me. I definitely look and feel more fit.

My health was not bad, but I felt lost. I didn’t know what to eat, so I was just giving up and eating whatever I wanted–and not feeling good about it. My weight was stagnant and/or increasing. I hadn’t seen a loss since May 2020 and then gained those pounds back plus 13-15 more. I felt frustrated! I needed help with figuring out what to eat and how to eat. I didn’t want a “bad/good” list. Just help. I lost a couple of inches in my waist and chest the most! That was exciting! According to my calculations, I lost 8 pounds. Fad diets promise so much more, but I am so happy that I was not on a fad diet. I felt like I worked WITH my body. Thank you Jen. Thank you for listening to me, watching me cry and cheering me on. I felt that you were 100% genuine in your approach, scientifically of course, but also emotionally. I can’t thank you enough.

“I can honestly say that I could not have done it without Jen…”

I think realizing that even eating low calories but the wrong food will prevent weight loss and cause my body to shut down. When I started eating more of the right food my body responded. In the 8-week period I lost 18 pounds and 12″ inches and this fell over THANKSGIVING. I eat so much more food now than ever because I am making healthy choices and I never felt like I was starving. I have since continued with my journey with the skills I learned adding in exercise and losing another 11 pounds and many inches! I just want thank Jen for her support and encouragement and the skills that she has given me to take my life back. I can honestly say that I could not have done it without Jen because I had tried many times before.

Total lost on the program was 3.5 lbs and some inches. Afterward I have stayed consistent with portion control, healthier choices like adding more vegetables to lunch, trying to add breakfast now and then. It was a pleasure working with Jennifer and I learned a lot that I hope will help me as I continue on my weight loss journey.

“I feel more energetic…”

I needed to figure out how to eat “smarter” and learn how to enjoy the foods I like and balance with good nutrition. I also needed to understand how to better plan meals to set myself up for success. I went into the program wanting to get to 220lbs by the end of the year and lay the foundation for the longer term, getting down to ~200lbs. By the end of the 8 weeks I was down to 209.6lbs, far exceeding my goal. More importantly, I feel more energetic, clothes are fitting better, and I am still enjoying foods and beverages I like!
